Textbox background not showing up in IE

Textbox background not showing up in IE

The background we use for the text box is a color code. What you can try is to replace it with an image. Sometime IE can have issue rendering transparent color code. You can give this a try. You will need to create the transparent image files yourself.

Click open the main_style.css and look for these two codes:

.text-box-dark { padding: 20px; background: rgba(0,0,0,0.8); -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); margin: 15px auto; }

.text-box-light { padding: 20px; background: rgba(255,255,255,0.8); -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); margin: 15px auto; }

The first code is for the dark text box and the second code is for the light text box. Replace the height lighted code with an image code:

.text-box-dark { padding: 20px; background:url(textbox-darkbg.png); -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); margin: 15px auto; }
.text-box-light { padding: 20px; background: url(textbox-lightbg.png); -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0,0,0,0.3); margin: 15px auto; }

The name of the image file is inserted in the highlighted code. You can name your image what ever name you like, but make sure the file name is inserted EXACTLY the same in the css codes.

Publish your site for the change to take effect.
